Steps into Headquarters

Since my last post, I have had two more interviews and have two more scheduled for this week. It has been a whirlwind of contacting professionals and meeting them, a lot more exciting than I previously imagined. I have loved meeting with each and every one, as they are all able to give me differing insights and perspectives about their careers and the field of marketing in general. Today was my first interview where I got to go to an office building instead of an outside location such as Starbucks. I went inside the Frito Lay headquarters and getting to visit the actual headquarters was an amazing experience. In the coming weeks, I hope to interview with someone from outside just the food industry, as that is what I have been doing. I hope to maybe talk with someone from an airlines company, such as American Airlines, since their headquarters are also located nearby. Coming up soon in ISM, we have to submit an original work proposal for what we plan to construct by the end of the first semester. This has been kind of stressful to think about because I don't want to come up with the wrong idea and then hate executing it. I hope to be able to finally finalize my mind on one idea by the time the proposal is due this week.
